Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association Partners With NJCAAE

On September 29th, the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) entered into a partnership with National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE). This agreement will see the two organizations work together to further develop and expand collegiate esports in the United States.

“We are extremely excited to partner with NJCAA Esports as we continue to establish our presence within collegiate esports and gaming. This relationship provides our membership with opportunities to engage two-year students and institutions nationally that are actively participating in collegiate esports while having the potential to directly aid in their efforts to increase enrollment,” said CIAA Commissioner Jacqie McWilliams.

The CIAA is the country’s oldest athletic conference serving historically black institutions. There are currently 12 schools affiliated with the 99-year-old college sports governing body.
