Legion Esports recently announced it would be launching a new gaming tournament series for college students in Ireland. Registration for the Legion Collegiate esports series opened on September 23rd.
Legion Collegiate aims to provide students in Ireland with a chance to face each other in video game competitions. So far, 20 Irish colleges and universities are scheduled to participate in the tournament series.
“Legion Collegiate is a hugely exciting opportunity for us. The popularity of esports amongst third-level students has been obvious for a number of years now, and we’re looking forward to providing them a platform to showcase their skills and go head to head with other college teams in Ireland and beyond,” said Legion Esports’ CEO Stuart Dempsey.
Legion Esports has been keeping itself busy recently. Prior to this, the company agreed to a partnership with An Post Money.
