It was recently announced that NBA Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett co-founded a new media company that covers sports betting called Gaming Society. The organization was founded by Garnett and Jaymee Messler, the co-founder of The Players’ Tribune.
“Our goal is to provide the information and guidance to make people better bettors and we are creating a new platform that will put professional athletes at the forefront of innovation in the betting category,” Garnett said in a statement.
Gaming Society will create original content that makes sports betting easy to understand and approachable. The organization will also release a weekly newsletter that offers sports betting news, analysis, and insights.
According to Forbes, financial terms and investment details were requested but not disclosed at this time
