Former “Fortnite” World Cup Winner Named Hollister’s Chief Gaming Scout

Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf, the 2019 Fortnite World Cup winner, was recently named the Chief Gaming Scout of the North American retail brand Hollister. As a result of this appointment, “Bugha” and Hollister have come together to release limited-edition hoodies and sweatpants.

Additionally, Giersdorf will be in charge of finding aspiring content creators to join Team Hollister. Individuals deemed worthy by Geirsdorf will have a chance to become a part of the organization’s training program which comes with a $10,000 sponsorship.

“We’re always focused on meeting our Gen Z customers where they are, and gaming continues to be a rising area of interest for global teens,” said Kristin Scott, Global Brand President at Abercrombie & Fitch. “We’ve recently been successfully and authentically showing up in the gaming world, particularly with our Fortnite tournament earlier this year – so we’re excited to delve even further into this area through our partnership with Bugha and the launch of Team Hollister.” 

Kyle “Bugha” Giersdorf is a teenage gamer from the United States. He previously played video games professionally for well-known organizations like No Clout and Sentinels.
