Blast Premier World Final Will Not Have A Live Audience

The Blast Premier World Final is the latest esports competition that will take place without a live audience. The decision to host the CS:GO tournament without a live audience was first announced by Blast Premier on December 1st.

“The tournament organizer’s biggest prize event will take place at BLAST’s Copenhagen-based studio in a LAN setting without a crowd,” the organization said in a blog post. “BLAST is confident and committed to delivering this event on LAN with the current COVID-19 restrictions and guidelines in place, but will continue to monitor the situation as it develops and adapt the event to meet all global restrictions and government guidance. “

Eight teams are expected to participate in the tournament. They are Heroic, Gambit Esports, Natus Vincere, G2 Esports, Team Vitality, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Astralis, and Team Liquid.

The tournament series is scheduled to run from December 14th to the 19th. The winning team will take home a lion’s share of the event’s $1 million prize pool.
