RemoteMyApp Acquired By Intel

Intel recently acquired the cloud gaming solutions company RemoteMyApp for an undisclosed amount of money. This information was first announced by RemoteMyApp’s CEO and later confirmed by an Intel spokesperson.

“We acquired RemoteMyApp for its leading team of cloud services designers and engineers, and we are excited to welcome the RemoteMyApp team to Intel,” a spokesperson told VentureBeat. “Intel will continue to support RemoteMyApp’s key customers per their contracts.”

RemoteMyApp was originally founded in 2014. The organization partners with other companies to create video game streaming experiences for customers. The business provides the backend infrastructure needed to build apps and other kinds of gaming interfaces.

RemoteMyApp also offers a cloud-based subscription gaming service called Vortex.gg. This platform can be accessed for $9.99 a month.
