On August 19th, Certified Collectibles Group (CCG) announced it had hired Matt McClellan as the organization’s new Senior Video Game Grading Finalizer. In this role, McClellan will head up the CCG’s newly established esports division, CGC Video Games.
CGC Video Games will work as a grading service for pop culture-related collectibles including video games, magazines, cards, comic books, etc. CGC Video Games is expected to launch early in 2022.

Eichenbaum, the CEO of CCG. “CGC is the definitive leader in the certification of pop culture-related collectibles and adding video game grading will further solidify this position by bringing our proven processes and expertise to the world of video game collecting.”
CCG was founded in 1987 and currently has offices in the U.S., U.K., Germany, and China. To date, the organization has certified over 60 million different collectibles.
