The gaming sportsbook Pinnacle recently announced it would be launching the third edition of its well-known Pinnacle Cup CS:GO tournament. This event will feature a prize pool of $100,000.
The winning team will receive an $80,000 grand prize. Additionally, the winner of the tournament will automatically qualify for the Pinnacle World Championships LAN event which will take place next year.
“The Pinnacle Cup has become a firmly established tournament in the esports calendar this year, and its ability to attract so many of the world’s foremost teams is truly humbling to us. CS:GO is a focus title for Pinnacle, and it’s proven to produce mass viewership across our key regions, so we are naturally excited to announce the third edition of our Pinnacle Cup CS:GO series. But this is just the start,” said Ben Cove, Pinnacle’s CMO. “Building on the success of previous tournaments, we are working alongside our partners in the background to develop a Pinnacle World Championships and potential LAN event for 2022. Watch this space!”
The Pinnacle Cup III is scheduled to begin on November 8th. The tournament will run through November 23rd when a champion will be crowned.
