The esports visualization and analytics company Skybox Technologies recently announced it had raised $2.26 million in funding. This money will reportedly be used to grow Skybox’s activities, allowing for the development of new broadcasting technologies and expanded partnerships.
Additionally, the organization revealed it was appointing three new people to its board of directors. Dave Harris (Guinevere Capital), Marco Blume (Pinnacle Sports), and Lee Lagdameo (Axle Equity Partners) have joined Skybox Technologies’ board.
Finn Peder Hove is expected to remain as Skybox’s Chairman of the Board. Furthermore, the company said that CEO Ethan Cooper will remain an interim board member.
“Dave, Marco, and Lee have been providing input into Skybox for some time and I am excited to now have them formally join our board. Their diverse range of expertise and acumen within gaming and esports will be invaluable as we scale Skybox,” said Cooper.
