In-person attendance may be on the horizon for Korean League of Legends fans. According to the LCK’s secretary-general, Lee Jeong-hun, the league is considering having live audiences in attendance around the time of the launch of the spring 2022 season.
For the most part, live spectators have been barred from LCK events since the COVID-19 Pandemic began in 2020. Since then, a limited number of fans have actually been able to attend LCK events. In fact, only 40 fans per match were allowed in attendance during LCK events.
This information has not been officially confirmed by the LCK. Furthermore, if fans are allowed to attend LCK Spring Split matches, it is unclear how many people will be permitted to be at each event.
