Former NFL Running Back Ahman Green Named New CTRL Brand Ambassador

Former Green Bay Packers running-back and current Lakeland University esports head coach, Ahman Green, has been appointed as a brand ambassador for meal replacement company CTRL. His duties have not yet been publicly announced.

“I am very happy to be part of the CTRL family!,” said Green. “I am health conscious as a gamer, and I let people know that we can be gamers and be healthy at the same time. CTRL is a company that has that in common with me as my mission is to be a healthy gamer.”

CTRL is a growing brand in the field of food supplements and meal replacement. Founded by former Team Envy founder Skyler Johnson in 2018, the brand focuses on meal replacement protein shakes. In 2020, CTRL partnered with FaZe Clan, and in 2021 the brand’s products started being sold at more than 750 locations in the United States.

Although rising to fame as a professional football player, Ahman Green shifted his attention to esports since retiring in 2011. Green was appointed as the Head Coach of Esports at Lakeland University in Wisconsin and is the business development director for esports network ESTV.
