Russian esports organization Gambit Esports has announced a one-year partnership with EXMO, in a deal which will see the cryptocurrency exchange platform become the general partner of the CS:GO, Dota 2, and Apex Legends teams of Gambit Esports, as well as for the teams of AS Monaco Gambit. According to the joint statement, both companies will seek to present the possibilities of cryptocurrencies to esports fans.
“With our joint initiative, we intend to highlight how much esports and cryptocurrencies have in common: the two fields have become a part of modern life, and the past two years have only heightened public interest in these industries,” said Sergey Zhdanov, CEO of EXMO. “For traders, just like for esports athletes, personal qualities such as strategic thinking, courage and quickness to react to change are of great importance. With Gambit, we want to create many exciting opportunities for our audience.”
EXMO was founded in 2014 and provides cryptocurrency trading and storage opportunities to over 2 million traders. At the end of 2021, Gambit appointed Nervos Network as an NFT partner and is set to launch a collection of negotiable digital cards.
