The Gumball 3000, which is a yearly international point-to-point rally, announced a racing game based on the event will be released in 2024. A Gumball 3000 esports team will be launched in 2023 to reinforce the title’s pro gaming elements.
“We’ve signed a deal for another Gumball videogame,” said Maximillion Cooper, the race’s founder. “[It will release] in 2024, which coincides with our 25th anniversary, [It will be] multi-platform; Xbox, PlayStation, Mobile… So basically, next year we’re jumping headfirst into the esports world and will launch a Gumball esports team… the esports world has gone crazy, and I want to be part of that!”
The new title is being developed by SimFabric in conjunction with GR Games. The upcoming Gumball 3000 game will be available on PlayStations, Xboxes, and mobile devices.
The Gumball 3000 is a 3000-mile yearly race that takes place across several countries around the globe. The rally has been held every year since 1999 when the event was first created by Maximillion Cooper.
