The unimaginable is finally reality. After months of “will they or wont they,” the Valve Steam Deck actually has an official release date with the first batch of order emails being sent out on February 25th. Recipients will have three days to make their purchase, after which their Steam Deck reservations will be passed on to the next person in the queue.
The units themselves will ship on the 28th, and after that Valve will follow up with new order email batches on a weekly basis
Valve announced that the Steam Deck invites will begin shortly after 10am PST and that order emails are sent in the same order that reservations were made. So, if you haven’t already done it, visit steamdeck.com to place your order, so you can officially be the coolest kid on your block.
