Astralis recently announced it had secured a partnership with the telecommunications company 3. As a result of this deal, 3 will serve as the official 5G network provider for the esports organization’s new facility in Copenhagen, Astralis Nexus.
This partnership will be focused on both entertainment and education. The deal will see 3 and Astralis produce content and host activations that portray “positive gaming experiences.”
“We want to take gaming seriously and bring families closer together in a greater understanding of how gaming can provide positive experiences, as well as new friendships and communities,” said Jesper Thyssen, the Marketing Director at 3. “In this connection, Astralis is a fantastic partner as this is how they work, combining gaming and physical activities.”
Astralis Nexus is now open. Several activities and promotions were hosted at the venue and online during its official opening which ran from February 4th to February 6th.
