Lightware Visual Engineering recently announced it joined the Esports Trade Association (ESTA). This move aims to bring state-of-the-art audio/visual signal management solutions to the global gaming community.
Video game competitions often present their own unique audio/visual challenges. However, Lightware’s AV-over-IP systems, matrix switchers, and extenders will be a perfect solution to some of the problems commonly faced by the gaming community.
“Esports operations require uncompromising, high-resolution video signal transmissions with ultra-low latency, seamless operation, and high levels of reliability,” said Lightware president Jason Tirado. “These features are crucial for legitimizing online esports competitions and enhancing the experience for players and fans and these are also Lightware’s areas of expertise.”
The Esports Trade Association is a Chicago, Illinois-based entity that was founded in 2017. This international trade association aims to improve the business practices of esports companies while bringing better products to gamers around the globe.
