The video platform Recast announced four new partnerships with the esports organizations LDN UTD, Viperio, Team Gullit, and Katana Gaming. As part of the deal, the organizations will work with Recast to provide fans with a variety of content including tournament broadcasts, behind-the-scenes interviews, tutorials, and more.
“We are delighted to welcome these forward-thinking esports teams, who have some of the brightest names in the sport, to Recast to bring fans closer to the content they want,” said Andy Meikle, the CEO of Recast. “We are already seeing great success for our esports partners, and are committed to ensuring this only increases. We are thrilled that each of the teams trusts us to help them capitalize on the potential of the fast-growing esports industry when combined with a solution like ours.”
Recast is a platform that provides sports fans with the ability to directly support their favorite teams by watching content on their channels. Although initially focused on traditional sports (Recast is a partner of Queens Park Rangers and the World Curling Federation), Recast now has four esports organizations from the UK as partners, as well as a Dutch FIFA academy.
