Fnatic Signs GUTS Gaming Roster And GAMMA Gaming Coach

It looks like there will be some new faces in Fnatic jerseys this year. On February 26th, the esports company announced it had signed the former GUTS Gaming roster that competes in Rainbow Six Siege.

Additionally, the organization agreed to contracts with Japanese talent Ryuya “Chibisu” Hamasita and the former coach of GAMMA Gaming, Théo “Phenomene” Hentgen. At this time, it is being reported that Hentgen will serve as a strategic coach and analyst for Fnatic.

“We’re excited to finally begin our journey into Rainbow Six Japanese esports,” said Fnatic Head Coach Jayden “Dizzle” Saunders. “We have a new roster of incredible homegrown Japanese talent who we’ve signed from GUTS Gaming and can’t wait to kick-start scrimming with the roster ahead of these two all-important competitions. We’re also delighted that Mag will be returning later this year – a player who believes strongly in this project and our vision for Rainbow Six esports in Japan.”

It has been a busy last few months for Fnatic. The organization announced it had terminated the contracts of two players the day before the GUTS Gaming signing. Moreover, the company released two other esports athletes early last month.
