AI-powered technology platform for creators, Triller, have partnered with esports and gaming platform Gamr to launch the first edition of the Gamr X tournament. The tournament, which took place on April 2nd, featured gamers from Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Uganda, Senegal, Cameroon, Cote D’Ivoire, Kenya, Algeria, and South Africa competing in FIFA 21, Call of Duty Mobile, PUBG Mobile, Mortal Kombat, and Street Fighter V for the chance to win the lion’s share of a $15,000 prize pool.

The last stage of Gamr X culminated in a nail-biting finale at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre in Lagos, Nigeria where five champions were crowned across the five-game titles.
