Beasley Media Group recently announced a partnership with Key Networks to distribute 30-second segments of esports and pro-gaming news. The product will be offered in two forms: “Quick Hits,” which is available for sports stations, and “Game Pop,” which is designed for music stations. The segments will “deliver high energy, entertaining video gaming and pop-culture content that ties esports to the traditional sports world by keeping listeners up to date on the latest esports and pro-gaming news,” according to a press release.
“Beasley Media Group and our Beasley Esports division couldn’t be more excited about this new partnership,” said Caroline Beasley, CEO of Beasley Media Group. “Key Networks is very aligned with us on developing and distributing next-generation content that reflects the growing popularity of digital sports.”
The segments are produced by Benztown and are described as upbeat, relatable, and easily sponsor-able for both sports and music stations.
SportsMap Radio has signed on and will run the feature four times a day Monday through Friday on its network of more than 100 stations. Beasley is running “Quick Hits” on 20 of its owned and operated stations as well.
