NBAer Cam Payne Joins Built By Gamers As An Owner

The Phoenix Suns’ Cam Payne is looking to expand his horizons. As a result, he recently joined Built By Gamers (BBG) as both an owner and esports athlete.

“Gaming is a huge passion of mine. I love to game, it’s a social thing for me,” Payne said in a press release. “This is a place that I can connect with my friends and family. It feels really good to be an owner in Built By Gamers. This is the first thing I’m in outside of basketball. I know how big of a deal it is and I’m excited to grow my platform while streaming. I want people to see who Cameron Payne is outside the game of basketball. BBG is the spot.”

Payne will likely be looking to bring his COD and NBA 2K skills to the Arizona-based video game company. BBG said that the two sides will use this partnership to bring entertainment content to the region while providing support to local non-profit organizations.

Cam Payne is a 27-year-old professional basketball player for the Phoenix Suns. He has played in the NBA for 11 years, averaging 7.6 points per game during his career.
