ZujuGP, a soccer-focused tech startup backed by Cristiano Ronaldo, is hiring all 14 founders and employees of Tokigames in an effort to integrate gamification features.
ZujuGP was founded by Singaporean billionaire and Valencia F.C. owner Peter Lim and his son Kiat, who launched a decentralized autonomous organization in February called CO92 DAO, aimed at allowing soccer fans to own a stake in the sport.
In addition to gaming, ZujuGP offers soccer merchandise and social connections for fans, as well as the ability to watch live games. Cristiano Ronaldo first announced his intentions to back the project last October on his Instagram, which boasts a world-leading 425 million followers.
