Corsair Gaming To Host Q1 2022 Earnings Call On May 5th, Gives Early Looks At Financial Results

On April 21st, Corsair Gaming Inc. announced that the organization would be reporting its full financial results for the first quarter of 2022 during a conference call on May 5th. This call is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM EST.

Additionally, the company announced its preliminary financial results for Q1 2022. Corsair recorded about $380 million in preliminary unaudited revenues during Q1 2022. On top of that, the business expects an unaudited adjusted EBITDA between $14 million and $15 million for the quarter.

“We are pleased that our preliminary Q1 revenue increased 23% over the fiscal year first quarter prior to shelter at home, which was Q1 2020,” said Andy Paul, the Chief Executive Officer of Corsair. “This continues to demonstrate the long-term growth for gaming products. We were also pleased to see continued gains in market share in many of our categories, which underscores our commitment to continued product innovation. As is now becoming generally apparent, inflation is higher than expected and the Russia and Ukraine conflict has put a strain on consumer confidence. We are encouraged by many recent reports of GPU pricing falling and availability coming back to normal, and as we outlined in our investor day presentations, we expect that to result in a surge of self-built gaming PC activity in the second half of this year.”

Corsair Gaming is a computer hardware and peripheral manufacturer that is headquartered in Fremont, California. The organization was originally founded in January of 1994 as Corsair Microsystems.
