Kansas City Hosts Halo Championship Series Major

The Halo Championship Series Major Kansas City 2022 has come to a close, with 24 teams from North America, Mexico, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand all competing for the lion’s share of a $350,000 prize pool.

The bracket-style tournament took place from April 29th to May 1st at Bartle Hall, The Kansas City Convention Center.

“This city is full of great makers and creators and the team behind the Kansas City Pioneers is no exception,” said Chase McAnulty, the Founder of Charlie Hustle, a local Kansas City business. “They’re literally pioneering a new dynasty here in Kansas City and we all should be taking notice.”

At the end of the weekend, Sentinels walked away winners, taking home 100 HCS points and $140,000. The Pioneers, Kansas City’s home team, finished 6th overall.
