Portuguese esports organization Sharks Esports has decided to part ways with its VALORANT roster due to an underwhelming year marred by poor results. However, the organization leaves hopes to return to the scene in the second half of 2022.
“We are ready to consider proposals for the whole team and individual players,” Sharks Esports wrote in a statement. “Our roster is still on contracts, and we do not rule out the possibility of continuing cooperation with some players in the future. In the first half of the season, unfortunately, we did not achieve our goals. In this regard, we are reorganizing with the goal of returning in the second half of 2022.”
The original Sharks Esports VALORANT roster was formed in March last year. During this time, the team has undergone several changes. After the failure at VCT 2022: Brazil Stage 1 Challengers and VCT 2022: Brazil Stage 1 Relegation, the club did not renew the contracts with the players, deciding to put them on the transfer.
