The Collegiate Center for Esports (CCE) has partnered with gaming and lifestyle organization Galaxy Racer for a tournament that will feature ten Philippine colleges. The schools taking part are San Beda Collega, Arellano University, Letran College, College of St. Benilde, Mapua University, Jose Rizal University, San Sebastian College, University of Perpetual Help, Emilio Aguinaldo College, and Lyceum of the Philippines University.
“Expect CCE to catapult and soar into new heights starting in our first official season,” said Stanley Lao, President of CCE. “And with Galaxy Racer behind, we see a meteoric rise and improvement all for the advancement of the esports cause in the country. It’s a massive partnership that would only lead to stronger ties and nobler cause for Philippine esports, especially in the collegiate ranks.”
Teams will be competing in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, one of the most popular (mobile) games in the Philippines.
