Officials at Harrisburg University in Pennsylvania announced their plans to launch an NFT marketplace where people can purchase NFTs featuring significant moments in the school’s history. All money raised from the marketplace will be used to help fund the University’s student scholarship program.
“We have devised a way that you can actually own a piece of Harrisburg University,” said Mark Singel, Board Chair at Harrisburg University. “I invite you all to join us to support our next generation of students.”
The website and marketplace will also serve as educational resources so that visitors can learn more about NFTs, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrency.
