Telecom company Zain Bahrain has agreed to a partnership with the Bahrain Schools and Collegiate Athletics Association (BSCAA). The three-year, exclusive partnership will see Zain Bahrain hosting online and physical esports events, organizing bootcamps, and hosting tournaments for students across the country.
“The partnership also plays an essential role in developing interests and providing broad-based support for the local esport ecosystem, which reflects the government’s keenness to hone the skills of the youth in concordance with Vision 2030,” said Dr. Shaikh Saqer Al Khalifa, President of the BSCAA.
The signing ceremony was held at Zain Tower, with Dr. Al Khalifa and Zain Bahrain’s Director of Communications & Investor Relations, Shaikh Abdulla Bin Khalid Al Khalifa, making the deal official.
