NBA 2K Team Raptors Uprising Opens Door On Gaming Facility

It looks like the NBA 2K League’s Raptors Uprising has a new home. This comes after the gaming team unveiled a brand new esports facility in the heart of Toronto known as the Bell Gaming Centre.

This venue has been outfitted with “groundbreaking” internet services provided by Bell pure fiber Internet, providing download speeds of 3 Gbps. Moreover, the facility will feature gaming PCs and PlayStation 5s. There’s even artwork all over the walls that was done by local artist Duro the Third.

“Over the last four seasons, our team has evolved, and we are matching that transformation by creating a new gaming facility that meets the needs of our players and front office,” said Sumit Arora, the VP of Strategy, Analytics, and Esports at MLSE. “Our partnership with Bell has been integral in making the Bell Gaming Centre a reality for the 2022 season, and we look forward to welcoming not just our team but also giving other professional esports teams access to a space that is unlike anything in our city.”

Raptors Uprising is one of the 17 original NBA 2K League franchises that were founded in 2018. As of this writing, Raptors Uprising is the 7th place team in the league’s Eastern Conference 5-v-5 series.
