Tournament organizer BLAST Premier has signed a media rights partnership with DAZN Group, a global sports streaming company. The deal makes all of BLAST’s tournaments available live and on-demand across 100 territories, and covers both TV networks and online platforms.
The partnership marks DAZN’s first foray into the esports market, having already broadcast events in Major League Soccer, Bundesliga, the NFL, Formula 1, and the Olympics, among others.
Last year, DAZN broadcast over 27,000 sporting events across 956 million hours of streamed content to more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. DAZN is now set to air the remaining three BLAST seasonal finals in 2022.
