React Gaming Appoints New Interim CEO

React Gaming Group Inc. has named Leigh Hughes as its new Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately. Hughes replaces Laurent Benezra, who stepped down from his role as President, CEO, and Director, but will remain with the company in an advisory role.

“I am excited to have the opportunity to leverage the assets that React Gaming has acquired over the past year, including LOOT.BET, Compete.gg, and Parabellum, all of which are top-tier assets with significant growth potential,” said Hughes. “My role as CEO and a major shareholder will be to build on this solid foundation, with the help of our outstanding and driven team, to continue to grow React Gaming and make it a leader in the esports space.”

Hughes is an entrepreneur and venture capitalist with more than 20 years working with public and private companies. He completed his Bachelor of Commerce degree at Curtin University in Western Australia, and has twice been nominated for the Young Australian of the Year award. In 2012, Hughes also made Western Australia’s 40 Under 40 awards, proof of his many accomplishments, which he has augmented significantly since.
