Twitch Introducing New Shared Banned User Feature

According to a recent report from Zach Bussey, Twitch has begun previewing a new feature that would allow content creators on the platform to share a list of banned users with other streamers. Moreover, creators will be able to add details to each blocked user if they wish to do so.

In this shared ban list, users can label individuals with tags like “suspicious user or “serial harasser.” By doing this, streamers will be able to help one another avoid unwanted or toxic followers.

At this time, the shared ban Twitch feature is currently in its developmental stage, meaning only a few select content creators are currently allowed to use this function. However, Dot Esports is saying that if adopted, this feature will likely be “implemented in the near future.”
