New Partnership Will Help Big Boot Games Bring METEORA Back Into Development

Big Boot Games recently announced that they are collaborating with a third party partner to bring their upcoming indie game METEORA back into development. METEORA has been hit with several delays, but fortunately looks to be back on track with this latest news.

“After five years of working on METEORA, we are incredibly lucky and grateful to be offered the 2 most sought-after resources in game development – more money and time,” said Nairit Roy and Artie Gaur, Co-Founders of Big Boot. “We’re thrilled to be able to go the extra mile of METEORA before release, and in the words of Shigeru Miyamoto, ‘A delayed game is ultimately good, but a rushed game is always bad.’ We look forward to sharing more as development continues!”

METEORA is styled after the old-school arcade space shooters. Using the third-person perspective, you must constantly try to survive everything coming at you. But, instead of controlling a fighter pilot, you play as a meteor hurdling through the universe. And while METEORA is a throwback to classic arcade action, it will incorporate “breathtaking modern visuals,” that will surely be an interesting and exciting combination for all the old-school gamers out there.
