YouTube Loses Its Global Head Of Gaming Creators

Lester Chen is leaving YouTube after spending seven years and seven months with the organization. From January 2021 to July 2022, Chen served as the global head of gaming creators for the organization.

The reason behind Chen’s departure was not revealed. However, he did say that he was grateful for his time with the company in a message posted on Twitter on July 15th.

Following his departure from YouTube, Chen joined Andreessen Horowitz as a partner and the company’s gaming creator lead. This has been a position Chen has held since July of 2022.

This is not the only major player to leave YouTube recently. Ryan Wyatt, the former global head of gaming for the company, resigned from his position back in February.
