MLB Team Opening Up Gaming Lounge Inside Home Stadium

The Minnesota Twins MLB team has joined forces with Wisdom Gaming to bring a new experience to the organization’s home stadium, Target Field. Starting this month, the two sides will open a pop-up gaming lounge inside the ballpark.

The Twins Gaming Dugout will be open to fans from August 15th to the 31st. This venue is outfitted with ten gaming stations that come equipped with hit games like Minecraft, Rocket League, MLB The Show 22, and more.

On top of that, the lounge will host an MLB The Show 22 tournament on a daily basis. The winner of each tournament will be featured on the main Target Field video board during the actual baseball game.

“The Minnesota Twins are continually evolving the Target Field experience to keep it fresh while drawing in younger and more diverse fans,” said Chris Iles, the Twins’ senior director of brand experience and innovation, in a press release. “Gaming is at the center of many of our future fans’ lives. Hosting a gaming lounge at Target Field will provide a unique opportunity for gamers to connect while also enjoying a Twins game.”

This is the second time Wisdom and the Twins have introduced a gaming lounge to Target Field. The last time the two sides joined forces for a project like this was August 2019.
