Are Marvel Characters Coming To FIFA?

Iron Man could be coming to FIFA 23. At least, that’s what I’m expecting after hearing about the first potential collaboration coming to EA Sports’ upcoming soccer game.

If you’re a fan of superheroes, you’re gonna love this because FIFA 23 is reportedly teaming up with Marvel. On July 21st, Twitter account FUT23News shared artwork teasing a collaboration between Marvel and the video game. That project is currently being called Heroes. Attached to the tweet was an image that depicted a blank FIFA Ultimate Team player card next to the word “heroes” in big block letters. And, of course, placed right above heroes were the Marvel and FIFA 23 logos.

At this time, there has been no mention of this collaboration on the FIFA Ultimate team website. Fans that visit the page are only able to pre-order three former FUT heroes who are real former soccer stars, not comic book heroes. They are the Ivory Coast’s YaYa Touré, South Korea’s Park Ji-Sung, and Portugal’s Ricardo Carvalho.

It could just be a coincidence that this bundle is called the FUT Heroes pack, but only time will tell. Regardless, this leaked promo could be a sign of things to come.
