EA Sports has partnered with the Spanish league to become their official title sponsor beginning in 2023-2024. The contract was a multi-year one, which will see EA Sports pay a yearly $30.7 million to the Spanish league in the rebranding agreement, which also includes the first and second divisions and other league-related competitions, including for youth squads and esports.
New logos and audiovisual features will be implemented when the new deal kicks off in 2023.
“The agreement paves the way for new experiences, deeper in-game integrations, enhanced broadcast communications, and commitment to grassroots initiatives,” said the league in am official statement. “In addition to the naming rights partnership, fans will experience the benefit through technology, gameplay enhancements and development, and real-world football highlights.”
The Spanish league season begins on August 12th.
