Blizzard has announced plans to keep Diablo Immortal fresh. The company recently outlined its content release strategy for the MMORP, which includes plans to launch new game updates every two weeks. Blizzard wrote in a blog post that these will come in two forms: “Mini Updates,” which will include Battle Pass seasons, in-game events, and feature updates. And “Major Updates,” which will deliver content like new gameplay features and storyline expansions.
“It’s important to note that all content mentioned above is not mutually exclusive to a Mini or Major content update and may sometimes just be released once it has reached a state of quality worthy of our players,” wrote Blizzard.
The company also said it’s looking to simplify the process of organizing Warband activities, by letting players see if members of their Warband are online and their current in-game activity from within the specific Warband menu.
Blizzard is also introducing a useful new feature which allows players to vote to kick a party or raid group member if the game detects them as being inactive, perpetually rejecting the queue, or engaged in other in-game activities.
