On August 24th, Zain announced the launch of the PLAYHERA MENA esports and gaming platform. This comes as part of a joint collaboration between Zain Group, Zain KSA, and PLAYHERA Global.
The PLAYHERA MENA platform was developed for gamers by gamers with the purpose of serving as a new regional hub for Middle Eastern esports enthusiasts. The platform unites pro and amateur gamers and gaming fans under one app that offers tournaments, cloud gaming, and e-commerce capabilities.
To celebrate the launch of the platform, Zain Esports will be hosting a regional PUBG Mobile league tournament from August 29th to October 3rd. This series is expected to attract over 7,000 gaming fans from across the MENA (Middle East-North Africa) region.
