The South Korean professional esports organization DRX is ready to make history as it looks to become the first esports company to go public on the KOSDAQ. This comes after DRX announced it had selected Daishin Securities as the lead underwriter for its Initial Public Offering.
“I hope our IPO scheme can inspire other e-sports companies to follow suit for positive influence over the industry,” said Choi Sang-in, the company’s CEO.
DRX is an incredibly famous Asian esports organization that supports rosters in four games: League of Legends, VALORANT, Warcraft III, and Tekken 7. Recently, DRX qualified for the League of Legends World Championships which run from September 29th to November 5th.
