It appears that Blinklink, the organization responsible for the hit YouTube series Don’t Hug Me I’m Scared, is looking to expand into video games. This comes after a recent job listing for the production company showed that the business will be launching a new project called Blink Games.
This job listing was posted to GamesIndustry.biz on September 29th. The role of Game Producer asks candidates to help Blinklink “take our first steps into the games industry with our new initiative, Blink Games.”
“The ideal candidate for the role is a Game Producer with experience in shipping independent titles as well as a good understanding of the games industry,” the job description reads. “You will be joining a team of creatives and developers building our first game, an exciting and unannounced title. As our first games hire you’ll be an important part of our team and our ambition to bring beautifully-crafted stories to life.”
Not much is known about the project because the game is still in the very early stages of its development. However, we will be sure to update you as soon as we hear anything.
