Three New Marvel Video Games Are Coming

If you are a fan of Marvel, then we have some good news! Recently, Marvel announced that it had signed a new agreement with world-famous video game company EA to make at least three adventure video games based on Marvel IP. And, gamers won’t have any limitations because all three of these titles will be released on console and PC devices.

The first game that the two sides will make will be based on Iron Man, the billionaire inventor/superhero who has been a staple of the Marvel Cinematic Universe since 2008. As previously announced, that game is being developed by EA Motive, the organization responsible for Star Wars Battlefront II, Star Wars: Squadrons, and the upcoming Dead Space remake.

At this time, there aren’t a lot of details about the other titles coming after the Iron Man game. But, according to IGN, each game will feature its own original story set in the Marvel Universe. Additionally, it’s unclear if the other two games will be centered around different characters or if they will serve as follow-up games to Iron Man, similar to how Spider-Man: Miles Morales was a follow-up to the 2018 Spider-Man game.

We also don’t know about the release schedule for these games. The one thing we do know for sure is that EA Motive’s Iron Man game will be a “single-player action-adventure game.”

Either way, it sounds like Marvel is not done trying to make a hit video game experience outside of the Spider-Man universe.
