Do We Already Know Where The International 12 Will Be Held?

It sounds like more Dota 2 world championship action will be coming to the United States. According to sources that spoke with Escorenews.com, it sounds like The International 12 will be returning to Seattle, Washington next year.

At this time nothing has been confirmed by Valve, and that may be the case for a while. The locations for TI11 weren’t announced until May of this year.

After The International was founded in 2011, Seattle played host to the tournament’s championship matchup from 2012 to 2017. Since then, the competition has bounced around, with finals taking place in Vancouver, Shanghai, Stockholm, Bucharest, and, most recently Singapore. If the TI12 finals are held in Seattle, it will mark the first time in five years that the event takes place there.

The International 11 grand finals were recently Kallang, Singapore. That competition saw Tundra Esports emerge victorious, earning them the title of Dota 2 world champions. The team pocketed over $8.5 million for placing first in the tournament.
