The Tennessee Titans National Football League (NFL) team recently announced it was launching a new interactive video game experience for fans and gamers dubbed Titans Tourneys. This comes as part of a collaboration with Rival, the world-famous online esports tournament platform.
Titans Tourneys will act as a new gaming platform where participants can compete with one another for special prizes. The league will be run fully online and will offer a variety of tournaments including the first Titan Tourneys competition which was held on January 5th for PS5 and Xbox One gamers.
Participants in the first event were competing over an autographed Derrick Henry jersey. The Titans and Rival have already discussed hosting in-person events in the future as well as other experiences.
“Titans Tourneys and our new collaboration with Rival provide the opportunity to engage our fans on a new level, creating a tight-knit community for those who love online gaming,” said Gil Beverly, the Titans’ Chief Marketing and Revenue Officer. “We continue to see Titans fans interacting with online platforms like fantasy football and video games to build friendship and enthusiasm surrounding our team. This competition will bring a new element of fun and excitement to our fanbase as they continue to embrace unique ways to support the Titans.”
Registration for Titans Tourneys is now open. If you are interested in learning more about these events, click here.
