Riot Games began testing Evil Geniuses due to health problems with the player – he was forced to perform in order to sell the contract more expensive later
Riot Games launched an investigation into Evil Geniuses, suspecting the club of insufficient control over the physical and mental well-being of former League of Legends player Kyle Danny Sakamaki. This was reported by the Dexerto portal, citing its own sources.

Danny joined EG in April 2022 and has earned three MVP awards in his first season in the LCS. However, in September, the team transferred the player to the position of a content maker: then the club’s management said that the player himself decided to leave the roster due to mental health problems. According to sources, when Danny returned home in September, the doctors also discovered that he had physical health issues caused by severe malnutrition.
The player has an autism spectrum disorder, which EG representatives knew about. The club promised to help the gamer adapt to stress and at first fulfilled their obligations, but later they stopped paying attention to Danny’s deteriorating condition. Despite this, EG management kept the player on the active roster and continued intensive training.
When other players and coaches of Evil Geniuses turned to the club’s management with a request to replace the “burnt out” Danny, who wanted to end his career, they were refused. Management believed that the gamer was lying and pretending to move to another team. At the same time, EG management wanted to keep Danny as long as possible in order to sell his contract at the end of the season for a large sum. When the coach decided to stand up for the player, he was fired. The eSports player himself denies the involvement of Evil Geniuses in his problems, however, Dexerto’s sources note that the player simply wants to forget this story.
Now Riot Games itself has joined the proceedings. The company will conduct its own investigation to find out if Evil Geniuses really mistreated the player of the LoL roster, and the organization itself was not ready to solve the mental problems of its employees. Officially, the studio did not announce the start of proceedings.

League of Legends MMO Producer Leaves Riot Games
Riot Games Vice President and League of Legends MMORPG Producer Greg Ghostcrawler Street has left the studio. The developer spoke about this on his personal Twitter page. According to Street, several of his relatives have died at once over the past year, which is why he wants to spend more time with his family. He noted that he leaves the development of the League of Legends MMORPG in the hands of a reliable team and will one day play the title with fans.

Ghostcrawler joined Riot Games in 2013. Prior to that, he worked at Blizzard Entertainment on World of Warcraft as a senior game designer. Street emphasized that he does not want to leave the industry – where he will continue his career is still unknown.
The development of an MMORPG based on the League of Legends universe became known in 2020. In 2021, former World of Warcraft game designer Candice Thomas, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and Cyberpunk 2077 led quest designer Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, and other industry veterans joined the team to create the title. In 2022, Ghostcrawler talked about the main approaches to the development of MMORPG from Riot Games.
The trailer for Milio, the new champion of League of Legends, has been released
Riot Games has released a trailer for the new League of Legends champion, Milio, the Gentle Flame. A video demonstrating his abilities has been posted on YouTube. Milio is a support champion who uses fire in his spells. His passive ability allows you to strengthen the attacks of allies. Using [Q] you can throw a ball of fire at enemies, briefly knocking them up and slowing them down. [W] Milio heals allies and increases their basic attack range by 10-20%, while [E] grants a shield that speeds up movement. His ultimate allows you to heal teammates and remove control effects from them – Milio will not be able to free himself.

The new champion will be coming to League of Legends shortly after the release of patch 13.6, which is scheduled for release on March 22. With it, a new line of skins “Fairy Kingdom” will also appear in the game: skins will be received by Milio, Karma, Serafina and Ezreal.
