Enthusiast Gaming Files S.E.C. Registration Statement

On April 13th, Enthusiast Gaming Holdings Inc. announced the company filed a Registration Statement on Form 40-F with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). If the form is declared effective, Enthusiast Gaming will become a reporting issuer in the United States. The company was already a reporting issuer in Canada.

A reporting issuer is also known as a US reporting company or US public company. A reporting issuer is required to file periodic reports with the SEC.

“While we are very much a global company, the US remains our most prominent source of audience and revenue. Naturally, a US registration is a significant milestone for the Company,” said the CEO of Enthusiast Gaming, Adrian Montgomery. “We are the largest gaming media platform in North America and believe a NASDAQ listing will allow us to enlarge our shareholder base and accelerate our growth strategy, including our M&A roadmap. This registration statement is a final step towards a NASDAQ listing.”

The Form 40-F being declared effective by the SEC is required to list shares of common stock on the NASDAQ. The Company will issue a press release announcing the first date of trading following the reception of the remaining outstanding approvals.
