Wave Esports recently announced it has entered into a partnership with energy drink company Red Bull. According to a press release, “Red Bull’s infrastructure” will be utilized to help Wave grow the organization’s VALORANT roster. Red Bull is expected to help Wave expand its other gaming rosters as well.
“From the very beginning, it was a goal of ours to work with Red Bull. Achieving this just before our company turns 1 year old is a great accomplishment for us and we are very happy that Red Bull believes in us. Looking back at what we managed to achieve throughout 2020 in the competitive scene and having this translate into commercial success in 2021 goes to show that we are definitely on the right path,” Ivaelo Bozhilov, the Chief Financial Officer of Wave Esports, said in a press release “We believe in excellence and competitive drive and knowing that they want to help us further develop and achieve our goals makes us extremely happy. We are ready to prove what we can do with Red Bull and establish a long-lasting partnership and we are looking forward to closing more partnerships throughout this year!”
Red Bull is Wave Esports’ second strategic partner. The organization also recently entered into a partnership with peripherals manufacturer Logitech.
Wave Esports is an Austrian company that was founded in the summer of 2019. It operates teams in various games like Fortnite, VALORANT, and Brawl Stars.
