Intema Solutions Inc. recently announced the company signed a letter of agreement to acquire globally-recognized esports product TheSMACK.gg. Intema will take control of all shares of TheSMACK.gg for $35,000 in cash.
“At the beginning of 2021, we committed to building our portfolio of Esports and iGaming assets, and this new acquisition brings us one step closer to our goal of being one of the strongest equities in this industry,” said Intema CEO Laurent Benezra. “Advertising will continue to be the largest revenue generator within Esports, and TheSMACK.gg gives us another avenue for growing our market share within this space. This acquisition also provides strategic advertising resources for our existing pool of assets, such as HypeX.gg ‒ The Social Gaming Platform, and Advertise.”
Intema also announced it launched an awareness campaign through Agora Internet Relations. The Agora campaign is planned to last 12 months costing $100,000 per year plus harmonized sales tax (HST), paid entirely in common shares Intema. The issuance of all Shares related to the marketing campaign agreement will be subject to a four-month-and-one-day statutory holding period from the date they were issued.
TheSMACK.gg is a B2B (Business-to-business) and B2C (business-to-customer) provider for Esports-related products and services allowing retail brands to participate in advertising opportunities. TheSMACK.gg’s retail service line includes branding, advertising, and campaign design.
