Nintendo recently announced Game Builder Garage will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. It is being reported that the game will be available to purchase next month.
Game Builder Garage is a tool that players use to create their own games. It works similarly to Sony’s LittleBigPlanet and Dreams. It features a friendly user experience as well as interactive lessons to teach new gamers how to use the program.
“Thankfully, you will be able to share your courses online with friends and random people. In fact, it looks like you can take other people’s creations, copy them, and then tweak them to your heart’s content. You will need to be subscribed to the Nintendo Switch Online service for this,” writes Joe Anderton of Digital Spy. “It’ll be interesting to see if, like Sony’s offerings, people will use tools to mostly create remakes of other games.”
Game Builder Garage is scheduled to be released on June 11th. The game can be pre-ordered now for £26.99 ($38.29) on the Nintendo eShop.
