On May 6th, the Atlanta Hawks, of the National Basketball Association, unveiled a brand new “Gaming House” for the team’s esports affiliate. The space will be used for training and competitions by Hawks Talon Gaming, the organization’s NBA 2K League team.
“We are thrilled to continue investing in Hawks Talon by creating this new space for them inside of State Farm Arena,” said Janice Koon, the Hawks’ Vice President of G League and 2K League Operations. “We are grateful for the collaboration between our creative team and building operations team who worked diligently to get the Gaming House completed in time for the upcoming season.”
The Gaming House is located on the fifth floor of State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The area features multiple TVs, gaming stations, gaming chairs, consoles, and so on.
The NBA 2K League recently unveiled the regular-season schedule as well as the competition structure for the 2021 season. The 16-week season will begin on May 19th and go until September 4th when a champion will be crowned.
